Welcome to Yellison Farmhouse, a beautiful traditional country home which has been transformed into a stunning 4-bedroom luxury holiday cottage. Sublime views of the Yorkshire Dales, generous bedrooms (all en suite with baths & separate shower) and a stylish interior are just some of the reasons to fall in love with this cottage, and there’s plenty more besides…
Set in an elevated position on a country estate, just a few miles from the honeypot town of Skipton in the southern Dales, the stone silhouette of Yellison stands proudly looking out onto this breath-taking landscape. Driving up to this large luxury Yorkshire Cottage you are left in no doubt that this is a special location indeed. And once inside this special vibe continues as you discover the charming interior, a classic mix of traditional and contemporary style designed to make you feel completely at home.
Downstairs you’ll find a lovely open-plan kitchen and dining room with exposed Yorkshire stone and patio doors to throw open in the summer months. Next door is the spacious sitting room with its gorgeous stone fireplace and wood burner keeping you nice and toasty all year round.
There is also a bedroom on the ground floor which can be set up as a double or twin and ideal if you are travelling with someone of reduced mobility. This double bedroom enjoys South facing views over the Yorkshire Dales as well as an original fireplace. All of the usual mod cons are there for your entertainment including Wi-Fi, TV & DVD player and an MP3 docking station…
All of the remaining 3 bedrooms are upstairs, (one of which can be set up as a double or a twin) a stunning master bedroom (double), again with South facing views of the Dales, a further double boasting a large feature window and the 4th bedroom, another double with exposed beams and views over the moorland. All of the bedrooms in Yellison have en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and one with a beautiful roll-top bath.
Outside there is an enclosed gated garden to the front of the cottage and a stone patio to the rear. Both lovely options for a nice spot of lunch al fresco. And what better view to go with it! There’s also a BBQ to enjoy and a glamorous fire pit to gather around.
Pour yourself a nice glass of red and head outside to share stories and catch up by the glow of the flames.
Please note this cottage is set beside a Landrover Experience on the Estate. Guests are very welcome to book in for this during their stay. Just mention it when booking.
Yellison is set at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales near Skipton. There are miles of peaceful uninterrupted walking from the doorstep, including a very pleasant thirty minute stroll to the local country Inn, The Bull at Broughton. This gorgeous country pub serves excellent food and was recently awarded ‘Best Bar Team’ in the Great British Pub awards. The fabulous Angel Inn at Hetton is also nearby and well worth the short drive. Sunday lunch here is particularly good.

Top it off with dinner in the Michelin-starred Burlington restaurant found in the Devonshire Arms close to the Abbey.
